What makes IronFjord Tax Professionals different from other tax preparers? +
Most tax preparers focus only on filing returns. IronFjord combines tax and investment expertise as a CFA®, CFP®, and IRS Enrolled Agent to help clients make intelligent financial decisions.
Do you only prepare taxes, or do you also provide tax and financial planning? +
We prepare individual tax returns nationwide but achieve the greatest value when tax and financial planning work together. Year-round planning optimizes tax outcomes and overall long-term financial plans.
Can you manage my investments and taxes together? +
Yes. Through IronFjord Wealth Management, an independent fiduciary financial planning and investment firm, we offer investment management and financial planning built around your tax strategy, using low-cost index funds to minimize taxes.
What types of clients do you work with? +
We typically work with pre-retirees and retirees, welcoming anyone who wants coordinated financial decisions.
Do you work with clients outside of Colorado? +
Yes. We serve clients nationwide through secure virtual meetings and encrypted document portals.
How do your fees work? +
Tax preparation fees are flat-rate: $595 for a standard 1040, $795 for a 1040 with Schedule C. Discounts are available for clients of IronFjord Wealth Management. No commissions or hidden fees.
I already have a financial advisor. Can you still do my taxes? +
Yes. We can prepare taxes independently or collaborate with your advisor. Many clients consolidate services for a more aligned fiduciary relationship.
When is the best time to start planning for next year’s taxes? +
The best time is as soon as possible. Proactive planning allows for Roth conversions, charitable giving, and investment withdrawals to manage future tax brackets and preserve wealth long term.
